Limewood Trilogy by Max ReadyThe Sun Hall is the large southern exposure entrance at Madame Lussec's villa, with a wide semi-circle of travertine steps leading down to a rolling lawn with swimming pool, where we shoot many of our outdoor sex scenes. The villa is on a small, touristy island in the Adriatic Sea (which is part of the Mediterranean) off Croatia. The island, which contains some Roman and Byzantine ruins among others, is called Lipa, Croat for linden (limewood—not to be confused with limes, the citrus fruit), from which a wonderful honey is made. The island, in fact, imports both linden honey and the rarer sage honey that only grows mostly on narrow strips of Mediterranean beach lands. The Croatian month of June is Lipanj, month of limewoods. The common Slavic name for honey is med, similar to old English mead. Consequently, there is hardly a moment when the air is not full of honey bees, which lends itself oddly to this story, which is about the birds and the bees.

The region is also a favorite for global women's sex tourism—helps set our atmosphere, but something we shy away from, as you will learn about our highly secret organization. You will learn about the company's founder, Mme Lussec, a former Cold War double agent. She knows how to run a tight ship, with the highest standards.

The eight of us (Team Med or Team Bed, as we called the production team at any given time) consisted that day of three gorgeous female models, one handsome male model, the camera man, plus me as manager. The two missing players at that moment were the sound man, Tony Alfano, and my production assistant Mina. We were waiting for Mina to pick Tony up at the local airport so we could start rolling.

While we were waiting, a sexy little incident occurred that gives a flavor for how we work (and play) within Villa Entertainment Venusia (VEV), one of the most unique companies in the erotic entertainment industry. The Villa itself was built in the 1800s as a palace for a British aristocrat who made a fortune in Balkan mines and forestry—it is a house of high, tin-paneled ceilings, wide doors and windows, and ample sunlight. It has fifteen rooms (including nine bedrooms, each with private bath), an enormous industrial kitchen, five full visitor baths including three outdoors in the gardens, with salt water pools in luxury alcoves.

Facing in each compass direction is a double French door similar to the 10m square (over 30 feet on a side) Sun Room portal. They four big rooms are: the Sun Room (south), Moon Room (north), Sea Room (west), and the Beach Room (east). Every inch of this building and its ten acre grounds seem to lend themselves to sex scenes, sometimes shooting three at a time. The grounds include a small exotic farm managed by a local woman, with peacocks and other birds that wander majestically among rose gardens and sunflower fields. We shoot in locations around the world, as you will learn if you stick around with us, though half of it occurs on Lipa, and in European cities like Prague, London, and Amsterdam. Villa Venusia is Madame Lussec's winter home, second to her primary home in Germany.

So there we were, sipping coffee or tea, and lounging about in the Sun Hall. We've done this before, and we're just enjoying a restful moment of relaxation. Only Frad and I are anxious about the time and the light. He likes to shoot in morning light, and it's now mid-morning. That's late here, where (unless you are in to disco all night) there is little to do after dark, so most people go to bed early and wake up with the dawn roosters.

The grounds were well irrigated, and looked lush in the Mediterranean winter (not much of a winter by northern European standards). A quarter mile south, colorful sails tacked back and forth on a sparkling blue sea under a deeper, bluer sky devoid of clouds. Add to that the relative silence of being far from cities, and you have a deeply peaceful atmosphere that makes people want to loosen their ties—and zippers, and bras, and just get down to the business of pleasure.

We all wore light summer clothing, which seemed intriguing to two of the girls and the German male model, who had flown in the night before from places covered in snow, from London to Paris to Bremen.

Helmut was going to be a stud today for sure, with three beautiful women taking turns on his magnificent physique. Mina actually thought he was kind of sweet, though she had other plans that day (which involved me).

You will wonder—why three women and one man. Mme Lussec is very particular with this little hobby of hers. She has found most male actors 'despicable' (her term) because they are clumsy, rude, low-class, and mainly selected for the length of their dicks. With a lot of companies, the women can be rather classy, but the men are so often just gutter crap with tattoos they got in jail. They touch the women as if they were rolling a joint or wrapping fish. You can see it on these guys—they are often just thugs with huge dicks. There are just as many raunchy women, and they belong with these yakuza types in old-fashioned porn flicks, not in high class erotica like ours. At the end of the day, Mme Lussec knows she can always rely on her high-class female models to make love with each other in a gentle, sensitive manner. Helmut came carefully chosen from an agency in Bremen, but VEV still applies a 3-1 ratio hoping the females will smother his male instinct to be a fucking animal. What can I say? Lots of flowers and one butterfly with a huge dick, fluttering around in the air like a drunk. I'm joking. Helmut went outside last night with Dashka, rolled a joint, and they smoked quietly under the stars before making love on the pool deck in the moonlight. Dashka is our one local model, a beautiful red-haired Croat from Rijeka, a city on the coast with a big airport and over 100,000 people. It's going to be a pleasant shoot.

I am Max Ready, my working name, manager for the shoot, responsible directly to Mme Lussec at her town house in the Luxembourg town of Mondorf-les-Bains a thousand or so miles from here. Mina was my production assistant, and has been for several years now, but Mina is a woman, and a special one at that—of all the models and other women who come and go, Mina is Mme Lussec's favorite among 'my girls' and can do no wrong. That might be the occasion for jealousies and rivalries, except Mina is in my corner (and sometimes we are in each other's pants) so she is not a rival but an ally. Working for Mme Lussec is like working for a major corporate tyrant (except she is benevolent, but she is fabulously wealthy and runs an international business in sex shops, as well as mail-order and web-order toys, books, magazines, and videos.

The organization I'm with is her pet retirement project at age 70+. It's called Villa Entertainment Venusia, named for the villa on Lipa that she bought some years ago after some local Communist honcho blew his brains out when Yugoslavia collapsed and his world evaporated. VEV is a woman-friendly art film cum erotica (cum the Latin for with, not meaning jiz, although cum to think of it…).
